Attacking Demand, Escalating Violence: The Impact of Twenty Years of End Demand Implementation on People who Trade Sex

Since 1999 eight countries around the world have changed their legal regimes regarding sex work to focus on the criminalization of clients, known as the "End Demand" model. RHJ partner Kate reviewed the data from five of those countries and looked at the impacts on violence, health, resources, and wellbeing of sex workers before and after the change and found a clear pattern - 'End Demand' fails sex workers.
